What I’m building, and why I’m sharing the mistakes.

I split it into two sides — a creative studio for hire and a creator brand building in the open — built by one person. Here’s what I’m making, and why it actually matters to me.

Why build in the open

Because the work is the proof, and the process is the part people actually learn from. The polished result tells you it’s possible; the open process tells you what happened. How you present something changes how seriously it gets taken — including by you. Treating my own story like it’s worth shooting properly is the exact discipline I bring to a client’s. The medium is the message. I want mine to say: this mattered.

The mission

Here’s the real reason. I grew up without much money but with a lot of exposure to different kinds of people, and it convinced me of something simple: most of what divides us is just distance and misinformation. So I want to use this — the camera, the network, the events — to put disciplined, curious people from different places and beliefs in the same room. To show the parts of cultures we never see, the misunderstood ones and the people inside them who’d love you if you ever actually met. My generation kind of lost the muscle for that. I want to help rebuild it. And yeah — I want to share my faith honestly while I do. The Bible’s pretty direct on that one.

You don’t have to see eye to eye with someone to love them.

The operating system: the 7 F’s

None of this works without a system. Mine is a framework I built from scratch I call the 7 F’s — seven pillars to keep in balance so no single part of life quietly eats the rest. I use them to turn vague dreams into silos, and silos into steps I can actually take this week. The goal was never perfection. It’s 1% growth every day and letting compounding do what compounding does.

  • Faith — the foundation the rest is built on.
  • Family — the people who knew me before any of this.
  • Fitness — daily proof that I do hard things on purpose.
  • Finance — freedom, not flexing. Fuel for the mission.
  • Friends — the network. Iron sharpening iron.
  • Field — the work, the craft, the calling.
  • Fun — enjoying the ride of the rest.

The source code

If you want the manuals behind the system, it’s mostly three books. Atomic Habits taught me systems beat goals. Essentialism taught me that saying no is a creative act. Deep Work taught me focus is the last real advantage nobody can take. The 7 F’s is the visual; those three are the framework builders under it.

How it shows up

Video essays when an idea earns the long form. Vlogs when you should just see it instead of hearing me explain it. And the memos — notes I write to myself first, about the lessons while they’re still raw before they get sanded down into advice. Different containers, same project: think out loud, build in public and leave a trail somebody behind me can actually follow.

That’s the whole thing.
